Required Packages

Contains the list of all packages needed by DECIDE applications.

RPM missing in repository

These packages may be found in atrpms and/or epel repositories. The relevant yum repo files are normally provided by yum-conf-58 and by yum-conf-epel packages.

For ATrpm and EPEL, please check whether the repositories are enabled by default: it is normally a BAD idea to have them enabled. This means that you will have to explicitly enable them, to install packages listed below:

    yum --enablerepo=epel --enablerepo=atrpms install ...
Moreover, you may also need to add --nogpgcheck switch to force some package installations.

yum install -y ImageMagick ImageMagick-devel ImageMagick-c++ ImageMagick-c++-devel arpack.x86_64 arpack-devel.x86_64 bison blas.x86_64 blas-devel.x86_64 cmake curl-devel doxygen.x86_64 e2fsprogs-devel flex fftw3 fftw3-devel gcc-c++ gcc-gfortran gcc44 gcc44-c++.x86_64 gcc44-gfortran.x86_64 glibc-devel.x86_64 glpk glpk-devel gnuplot.x86_64 gnuplot42.x86_64 gperf.x86_64 hdf5 hdf5-devel lapack-devel.x86_64 libgfortran.x86_64 libgfortran44.x86_64 libtermcap-devel libX11-devel libXp.i386 libXp.x86_64 make mesa-libGLU-devel pcre.x86_64 pcre-devel.x86_64 qhull qhull-devel readline-devel suitesparse.x86_64 suitesparse-devel.x86_64 suitesparse-static.x86_64 tcl.i386 tcl.x86_64 tcl-devel.i386 tcl-devel.x86_64 texinfo.x86_64 tk.i386 tk.x86_64 tk-devel.i386 tk-devel.x86_64

Special note for fltk: at some point I noticed that packages fltk, fltk-devel, fltk-fluid had to be installed like this

    yum --disablerepo=atrpms --enablerepo=dag fltk.x86_64 fltk-devel.x86_64 fltk-fluid.x86_64

Special note for hdf5: make sure the repository from which it is installed is not the EPEL one.

Other notes: qhull version should be 2010 (found in EPEL repository).
